c62ec2cd48 Refactor depth surface handling and unify depth sampling rules
- Removed the `always_vertex` parameter from `build_surface_camera` to streamline depth sampling for cutouts and ensure consistent behavior across depth plane and panorama.
- Updated depth sampling logic to ensure that all free boundary points, including the original frame of the depth plane, use neighboring face depth instead of their own texture sampling.
- Adjusted the depth mask deletion process to operate on faces rather than points, eliminating the need for additional cleanup of dangling edges.
- Ensured that the cutout rules are consistently applied across all relevant nodes, removing exceptions and simplifying the logic.
- Updated tests to verify the new behavior, ensuring that cutout points follow the depth of adjacent faces and that the original frame maintains its depth sampling.
- Refactored geometry handling in multiple depth-related nodes to improve clarity and maintainability.

7f69630371 Refactor depth node groups and simplify options
- Removed `Smooth Weight` input from `O Image Depth Plane`, `O Image Depth Cutout`, and `O Image Depth Panorama` to streamline the interface and maintain consistent boundary smoothing behavior.
- Adjusted the `Reference Depth` input to appear last in the options panel for better organization, reflecting its role as a calibration value.
- Consolidated the `expand_smooth()` function to only accept necessary parameters, eliminating unused branches related to `Smooth Weight` and `pin_sharp`.
- Updated related tests and node assets to ensure functionality remains intact and consistent with the new structure.
- Introduced new specifications to document the changes and ensure compliance with the updated requirements.

4035f5c9e4 Refactor geometry generation to standardize Blender object coordinates
- Unified the canonical local frame for generated geometries (Plane, Depth Plane, Relief Plane, Cutout, Depth Cutout) to align with Blender's object coordinate system, setting X as horizontal, Z as up, and +Y as depth.
- Removed the `Depth Axis` parameter from `O Image Cutout` and `O Image Depth Cutout`, simplifying the geometry generation process.
- Updated the depth direction defaults to use +Y instead of -Z for `O Image Relief Plane` and Depth Symmetry.
- Adjusted the geometry nodes to ensure thickness, projection, and shell displacements operate along the Y-axis.
- Implemented new capabilities for handling object space normals to align with the new canonical frame.
- Enhanced the Depth Symmetry functionality to mirror across the canonical Y-axis and perform a final rotation to maintain the correct orientation.
- Added tests to validate the new coordinate system and ensure compatibility with existing assets.

591e62085a feat(cutout): implement boundary padding for cutout textures
- Introduced a new `Boundary Padding` preference in the Cutout Tool with a default of 2 px and a configurable range of 1-4 px.
- Updated the Cutout client to establish inward mapping from the final Mask, sampling in a fixed direction and processing independent material RGBA and Depth.
- Enhanced the handling of RGBA and Depth during cutout operations, ensuring proper mapping and preservation of source data.
- Added tests to validate the new boundary padding functionality and its integration with existing cutout processes.

feat(geometry): remove overall mesh smoothing from geometry nodes

- Removed the `Smooth` input from several geometry node groups to eliminate unnecessary overall mesh smoothing.
- Retained `Smooth Weight` for depth nodes while removing it from Cutout and Relief Plane nodes.
- Ensured that boundary, normal, and fill smoothing behaviors remain intact and consistent.
- Updated tests and documentation to reflect the changes in node interfaces and behaviors.

feat(normals): scale tangent normals with depth

- Reused the existing `o_normal_reduction` attribute to adjust Tangent Normal strength based on the geometry's `Depth Scale`.
- Ensured that Tangent Normal strength is consistent with the geometry depth, preserving full strength for materials that do not provide the attribute.
- Updated tests to verify the correct behavior of normal strength adjustments in both Tangent and Object Space.
